Topic: CB650 TIMING ADVANCE

Is the timing advance the same on all cb650's?  I brocke the locating pin on the back of mine on my '82 cb650 and was wondering if to one from other years would work.

Part # cross reference shows 81-82 only. Probably due to a change in the advance springs with the updated CV carb design. You will need to look at the timing advance specs for the 79-80 to see if they are the same.
