CB750K3 Coils
« on: November 09, 2013, 07:56:17 am »
After testing my coils it seems like I need a new set and I would like a stock replacement.  If anyone has a set of OEM coils that are in excellent shape I'd be interested.  I'm also wondering if anyone has info on a modern stock replacement.  I found these at Dime City  http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-chopper-custom-motorcycle-electronic-ignition-parts-cb750k-12-volt-ignition-coil-38-2019.html   Anyone use them?  Thanks for the input guys.

What makes you think the coils are bad as that is a real rarity
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

The coils are interesting but for the same price you could just buy original OEM ones that will last basically forever like the originals

90% of bikes only "need" stock coils. The modern idea is nice for those coils but are they actually better, I really don't think so.
