Topic: 750 4-4 options?

Alright I'm trying to figure out a 4-4 option for my 750. I know benjie makes an option that costs a pretty penny, so my questions is what other options are there? I'm running a 4-1 carpy exhaust and would like something........more subtle noise wise.

Are there some kind of headers I can run and put slip ons on it? Is there someone else who makes 4-4 exhaust in the 1k range?

I see these and am wondering if I can run them with slip ons, cleaned up of course. I'm new to 750's ( Usually like twins) so im not sure the pipe interchangeability

I really don't want to run hm's because they are going to be black to fit my bike and if i modified a set I feel like I would get beheaded in my sleep.

There's a couple of nice pipe sales going on for cheap on ebay right now. Here's a set that isn't too bad.

Although, what year is your bike?

As for desecrating some HMs… You can get an aftermarket set for around $1000 or a used set that may need a little work, but with some JB weld and black paint, who would know?

Same advice. There's plenty of them on ebay for around 1k. Get yourself some aftermarket 4 into 4 and paint them. I have a friend that painted his entire bike black. Engine, pipes and all. I told him it was a stupid idea. I warned him again when he started the process. when he was done I said, " let me take that for a spin'. It was awesome. (looking for pix) Good luck.
