Hard to add anymore then what's already been said, Tige.  You really are one of the best restorers I've ever seen.  Your attention to detail, a knack for having a vision, and getting everything just right is very admirable.  That bike really is beautiful.

+1!

Its funny you mentioned the orangy look as I was thinking the same thing as I scrolled through your photos and then read your comment!

I am curious though to see what it would look like with the tank trim and how this might look with chrome trim on the seat to match.

Excellent work!
Andy

That tank looks killer WITHOUT the trim. More custom look and it looks larger making that wonderful paint larger than life.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

For those of you who wanted to see it with trim...  Lower quality photo but you get the idea.  thoughts?  (here comes the 50% for and 50% against, ha ha)

I actually think I like the tank trim, but it will not b getting trim on the seat.  If it was more of a custom rather than stock I would lose the trim, but I feel the trim gets it closer to the stock look I was initially going for.

Gday Tige, i think it looks more purposeful without the trim, it seems to "toughen" the look of the bike, more business than frills... ;D ;)

Tweakin, do what you want with the trim. Its yours and you will look at it more often than any of us.

Any chance of a ride video, I would love to hear that engine singing at higher revs.

Thanks Tige for the trim photo but have to agree with Retro - no trim if no trim on the seat. I get what you mean though with stock v custom. Either way it looks amazing!

Cant wait for the ride report and some scenic photos!  ;)
Enjoy!

Tige,

I love this bike, as I love all of your builds.  Nothing but the highest quality workmanship.  Bravo.

Obviously do what you want (trim-wise) but I had to chuckle about the no-trim comment.  How old am I??

Again, great work.

I know you're not a BOTM-kind-of-guy, but I am nominating this one tomorrow!!
