Wow, that head looks better than new.
The black oxide...keep lightly oiled, as you know, they rust easy otherwise and are a pita to clean up. Wonder if silicone would protect them from rusting but keep the dirt buildup to a minimum?Who did your head work? Mike R?Was the head ported at all? I presume with the nice upgrades to top shelf merchandise you had some work done on the head to eek out more performance...David

I presume with the nice upgrades to top shelf merchandise you had some work done on the head to eek out more performance...DavidBe very careful using silicone on the black oxide, most silicone is acidic and will promote rust, there are non acidic versions that would work, ever see all the dodgy leaky windscreens "fixed up" with silicone.? most just about fell out due to rust not long after...
Top notch Tweakin, are you going to use lock washers with the 12 points? Just my 2cents but you should hit the exposed ends of the bolts with a file/polisher for nice clean look
