B, the harness is for a K3.  I do usually put extra fuses in the blank section of my fuse box though.

I was just looking at the K1 wiring diagram and it shows only one 15A fuse for the whole harness. What harness did you end up using? I see you have more than one fuse there.

I went with the K3 harness because the bike is a blend of K3 and K1 running parts with modern controls.  I also like the idea of having extra fuses in the harness rather than the one 15 amp of the KO?K1 harness.

Work and my daughters select soccer schedule has been limiting my shop time.  the bike is ready to fire just need a few good hours to tidy up a few bits before I do so.

Don't worry Steve-O, it will get plenty of use.

Initial fire up this afternoon and all went great.  Fired right up, idled well and had excellent throttle response.   Only a few minor tweaks and the turd is flushed!

Thanks for all the comments fella's!  I am a little bummed this one has come to completion, but excited to start enjoying it.  This bike came together much faster than I expected it to but the finished results are exactly what I was shooting for, a solid runner with stock look and minor modifications to make it mine.  Being that this bike was left for dead and in pieces when I started I am really proud of how she turned out.

Pretty rough shape when I brought her home this last November.  Too far gone for a full restore, so I put her back together as close to stock as I could and wanted to.  Feels really good to have brought this one back to life.

I could not be happier with how the "Turd" turned out.  It was overcast when I shot the pictures so the Candy Gold paint looked almost orange, pretty cool the way the paint looks different in different lighting.  My oldest daughter came out and said "Daddy, I thought Tweakin's turd was Gold?  This bike looks orange"  This was followed up by "I think you need to change the name...  Its not a turd anymore".

Hard to add anymore then what's already been said, Tige.  You really are one of the best restorers I've ever seen.  Your attention to detail, a knack for having a vision, and getting everything just right is very admirable.  That bike really is beautiful.  Can't wait to see it in person.
