1977 CB750A carb question
« on: November 23, 2013, 08:07:46 PM »
Hi guys time for another dumb question. how is it possible to remove the low speed idle jet I have 3 of the jets blocked and would like to avoid having to take apart the entire carb for soaking in carb cleaner if possilbe. Just to be sure for ref that is the bronze pipe that is adjacent  to the main jet on the pilot screw side of carb  thx in advance

I grabbed with a pliers and gently pulled/twisted it out.  This approach is used by others (if not all) on this site - don't know any other way to do it.
1978 CB750A (upgrading very, very slowly)

Past bikes - Honda: SL350, CX650C, CB900C, CB1000C, CM450A; Kawasaki: several 1972 750 H2's; Suzuki: TC90J.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.
