Topic: 1971 750 fender question

I'm looking for a new fender for my K1. I'm just wonder if other years are compatible? I found a good, cheap '78 and was curious if it would fit.

69-71 is compatible for sure. I think the 72 slightly changed, it definitely changed in the later years. there was a 71 on ebay for $60 shipped last week. I almost got it. just needed TLC
