Topic: CB 750 K0 - which exhaust?

Actually, I am loking for the correct exhaust for my CB 750 K0, VIN is 1019xxx.

The bike was first registerred in Germany in March 1970.

Is it a 1969 or 1970 model?

Which exhaust is correct? The "300" numbered or he one without numbers?

And finally; Where may I find the correct exhaust?

I think Yamiya makes no number stamped repros.... Big bucks... Honda discontinued making the 300s and 341s..

by 70, it should have been stamped HM 300. Finding the "correct" exhaust is a loaded question. You can get reproduction pipes with no stamp from Yamiya. You can find Honda replacement HM300 pipes (made later). They are "correct" BUT, they have a noise warning stamped on them that was not there when the bike was built, to acknowledge that they don't meet current noise and emission standards. So, in a manner of speaking, you can not get the pipes your bike rolled off the assy line with unless you go used, or miraculously find new old stock.

What was the build date? For what it is worth, my K0 has a build date of November '69 though registered as 1970, has unstamped pipes.. or only three now. Had to replace the number one pipe after 22 years in the back of the garage.
