Is it sad that...
« on: November 11, 2013, 03:07:47 PM »
The one thing I love about my new house (my first house BTW) is the fact it has an awesome 2 car garage.  I only have one car, but now I have lots of space to work on my good old Honda.  I can't wait till I close next month.  Now I just have to find the time next month to move.  Did I mention that I hate moving...

I also hate moving and last did it 5 years ago. Hire a mover for all the heavy stuff, worth every penny.

Congrats on the house, smart, sound investment [as long as you bought right]

Well it's been a few years since I last moved to this apartment, and I always said I'm only moving one more time and that was going to into a house.  Stev-o I got lucky on this house considering what one just down the street sold for I got a steal on this one.  Once I get a few things cleaned up I know I will be able to sell it for much more then I bought it for if I ever decide to.

I hate the prospect of moving so much I've been in the same house for 41 years.  :)  Best of luck with move and enjoy your new home.  ;)

Well let's see. I moved each year of undergraduate studies once at the begining and once at the end of the year (NJ to Baltimore), twice now for graduate school (Baltimore to NJ to Michigan). I may be moving to a new place at the end of this year. I will also be moving once my Ph.D is completed (hopefully in 2 years).

At that point, I'll probably move into an apartment before I finally move into a house.

SOo yeah, moving sucks. I hate it. And yet, I do it so much  ???
