carbs
« on: November 20, 2013, 08:54:12 AM »
Is there a site or book, that will show me my carbs, and  break them down. I would like to know what are  low speed jets , emulsion tubes etc. I know nothing about them at this time.

Please don't try to explain it to me in the forum. I would like a reference in front of me. If I can't get my bike sorted, it's gone.

the CB750 shop manual, plus a Clymer or Haynes repair manual to go along with it are great.

good online references, with pictures

and every link on this page.  go through each one.  its worth it.

See if this helps. It's just sitting in my Drop Box. I have not really look at it.

Contact member Hondaman...he wrote a tell all book on the CB750 and has a great section on the carbs from a mechanics restoration perspective. I think you can find it in the For Sale section of this board. A must for the 750 buff...

YouTube can be your friend too. Just search CB750 and you will find all kinds of video how-to's.

Yes! Youtube vids have saved my bacon more than a few times. But you have to learn to weed out the hacks from the people that actually know what they're talking about.

A big +1 on Hondaman's book. You may also want to try here http://www.helminc.com/helm/search_service_owner.asp?Style=helm&class%5F2=AHC
They do reprints of the old Honda service manuals. I just got one for my new to me 1984 Aspencade and it's very high quality.
