Hi Cognito, if you have the ability to make triple clamps for these conversions, why not make 50mm {750F} and 60mm {750K} offset clamps for the guys that want to retain close to stock geometry and use stock height wheels {well 18inch or 19 inch}..?, It helps the bike handle better and keeps trail near to or where it should be..... I bet you would sell quite a few... I am having some clamps made up by another member for these exact reasons...
Personally I like the feel I get with the stock gsxr offset. I know it's a common dispute over offset so I feel that make an upper and lower triple clamp with 60mm offset would be a great option for some folks. If your running stock 19" rims it would be very appealing.
I would prefer starting with a 60mm offset since it covers most of the 750's. Then maybe a 45mm for the CB550's
Spent my morning drawing it up to see how it could be done.
Added plus is that I can incorporate the stops into the lower triple.

The steering stops are a great design feature. I think you sell a bunch of these.
60mm offset is no good for F model 750 Honda's, it reduces trail , Honda changed the F's frame rake and offset to aid in stability by adding trail, they used a 50mm offset, 50mm would be ok for the K model 750's as well as it increases trail slightly which will improve straight line stability, the K's were known for their tank slappers when ridden hard , thats why you see a lot of steering dampers on the K 750's, one of the reasons was due to its small trail numbers {around 3.7 inches i think} the K models have, thats why it was altered on the later F models. I think a 50mm offset would suit both the F and K well. Also its a common mod to use an 18 inch front wheel with these conversions {for better tire selection, they were raced this way as well} , this slight lowering of the front also reduces trail, my point is that this can be compensated for by the 50mm offset clamps.... Just something to think about...
