Topic: no spark in 1,2, or 3 wires

hooked up all the electrics and tried to bring the bike to life again but only fired on # 4 cylinder. I checked the wires as i started it with a timing light, the only one that would flash is #4. Any ideas? Im running a hondaman ignition and recently set the points.

about to head out and check coil resistance any other ideas?

remove plug boots, trim off 1/4" of the plug wires, and reinstall plug boots

also connect your ohm-meter to your plug caps to check for resistance.
report your findings for all caps.

That is where i was originally going, but wanted to make sure I cover all my basis before I purchased new coils. Its exciting yet frustrating to be so close to hearing her roar just to have her choke.....no parallel intended lol

I understand your test methods but the only for sure way to see if you have spark is to take the plug out, put it in the cap and lay it on the case when you turn the motor over and look for spark color. If you were really only sparking on one cylinder your motor wouldn't even hint at starting up. If you still have no spark then work your way back from there, coil, points, condensor, connections, etc.
