Thanks. Yes, it's the "original" Katana, father of all "crotch rockets". It's in the shop getting a re-furb, this winter. I'll post new pics when completed.

Thanks. My humble stable.... I've got a couple of others, but couldn't find pics. A 2007 Yamaha XT225, dual-sport, which my kids ride. And a 2003 Yamaha TTR225, play bike, the last of our dirt bikes..... an end of an era, I guess.

The Kat was always on my short list of bikes to own, ever since it arrived in '82. I was an impressionable college student and fell in love with it's styling. Of course, being a college student, I had no cash to pick one up, which was OK, because I had the CB750 to ride. It only took 25 years for me to get one.... worth the wait.

You've got great eyes, Stev-o!! Yes, that was a vintage Pontiac, a 1971 LeMans Sport convertible,  428 engine..... but, it went a couple of years ago to help fund my oldest son's last year of college. That and my 1966 Pontiac Tempest Custom convertible...... I missed them for awhile, but they went for a good cause. I still have my bikes.

I always wanted a '68 Firebird, could never find one around here that I could afford.... We drove the heck out of the cars when the kids were little, went everywhere in them. Now, it's just the wife and I, so the motorcycles work for us very well, again.
