Nice bikes. Like the katana.

This is the only Katana I want.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

How's it sound? Loud and mean?? Surprised they never made an exhaust for the SOHC, I believe they make one for the DOHC.

LOL! I don't know, yet.... the bike is on it's way to me. One of my long-distance purchases. I do have a V&H on my Katana, sounds good, loud, but not obnoxious. Back in the day, V&H was geared to Suzuki, they did branch out to Hondas in the 80's, and beyond, I believe.

As soon as it arrives, I'll start it up and let you know what I think.

Oh!  I saw it in your sig and thought you had it.  I almost always buy long distance.

This one's a 1980 Wes Cooley replica. The one in the sig, is my '82 Katana.

There's gotta be a support group or vaccine for buying motorcycles.....  ::)

Obviously, I don't know the Suzi's (I do have a '72 TS250 though, remember them?)

We are your support group! We support your decision to buy more bikes.  I got another one today too...

What bike did you get?

You have a '72 TS250? I need pics, please. My first bike was a '73 TS250, man, I loved that bike. I sold it when I went to college, Dad wanted it out of his garage.... been looking for one ever since.

Yeah, nice support group! My wife thinks I'm insane, BTW!

Here is my TS250, bought it several years ago, only has 1700 odd miles. It's not 100% original thanks to the PO, but pretty close.

And I just took delivery of this K3 the other day. One of the forum guys posted the CL ad but didnt want it, so I wanted to give it a good home.
It came from NC and has some cool bits on it, I will do a full long term racer restore...

That TS looks great.... brings back so many memories. Mine looked very similar (1 year difference), had turnsignals and I think a factory rack on the rear fender. That bike went everywhere, even places my friends with their "streetbikes" couldn't go..... on weekends, we were on it riding trails, etc. I had two sets of tires and rims, one for trails, one for street. Sunday night I would clean the bike up, swap out the knobbys for street tires and off to school and work on Monday, I went. Saturday morning, reverse, off went the street tires, on went the knobbys..... those were the good old days.

Thanks for the pic, and the memories.... if you ever get tired of it, let me know.

Oh... the K3 looks good, too.

Thanks.  It's time for new tires but I've kept the knobbies on it since my buddy has a 600 acre ranch and it's currently not street legal.
I bought it 'cause my Dad had a TS90 when I was a kid and wanted to bring back my youth...but needed a TS with balls!

Really?  Had no idea.  My buddy knows a guy that restores them and wants to buy it, but I'm not good at selling [will only use the money to buy another bike!]

Those are interesting. I've always wondered how dependable the pop-up headlight is, I has some on my '69 Ford, once, they never closed....

Yes far...but it has one pic.

This one looks sweet, where'd you find? More complete than mind, all I would do is take off those goofy 80's mirrors. How much??

The pop up lights are known to fail, I prefer the GSX750 ES or EF with the full fairing.... ;)

I didn't see the pic when I clicked the link, either time.

This is a little closer to home, only 3.5 hours, one-way. The mirrors would go for a more "period" set.

The shipper is picking it up next week.... I'm getting anxious, to say the least. A forum member over at GS Resources keeps posting pics of his Wes Cooley in locations all around Miami FL, so, when I get mine, I'm going to post pics of mine in the snow and ice, so he can feel sorry for us poor slobs up here in Indiana.....  :'(
