oil leaking out of #2 exhaust
«
on:

Much to my dissmay I found oil pouring from my exhaust. Its fresh oil. Could this be a valve seal? I replaced them a year ago and havent driven it yet. Or could it be something else?
Thanks

do you mean when it's running or just sitting there? If the oil is clean and fresh, I'm thinking it hasn't gone through the combustion chamber. Could be a hole in the puck seal found under the cam holders. I think they may lead somehow into the pipes?

What kind of exhaust have you got? Sure it's not leaking from the engine somewhere and dripping on to the collector? Unless you've got straight-thru's, most silencers are angled upwards - they'd need to be a lot of oil in there for it to pour out the end

What bike?! Out the exhaust pipe? ETC? Could be numerous things. You really should provide details if you're needing help as we can not read minds.

It is a cb500. Ive had it for over a year.i havent ridden it but just started it. I took a peak inside and found one of the pucks had come loose and the cam cover gasket was pinched.
