That's what I was thinking Larry. Steve, sounds like you need to be looking for an RD400.I just can't find myself really wanting a two-stroke bike. Do you bring a little container of oil with you all the time when you refill? I can envision a very loud and obnoxious machine that throws more pollution in the air....would be like driving around one of my STIHL yard products, but louder.

I did read Larry's reply and he said modern bikes. So go be a prick to someone else. I never said I knew jack $hit about two strokes, either. I'm still learning.
Would like to have one of those CL450 or R75/5. Great looking bikes, Jas67. My brother -in-law has a Breva 1100 (red) from new. He loves that bike, very rare and realiable.
BTW - the 1979 RD400 was one of the last 2 stroke street bikes made.....

Fenders, most modern 2 strokes have a separate injection tank for the oil. A tight 2 stroke does not smoke all that much and only becomes loud if expansion chambers are added. ...Larry
