1972 CB750 Carb sync tool help
« on: November 26, 2013, 09:34:22 PM »
Hey guys,
I bought a carb sync tool from dcc. It came with the 4 brass pipes to hook up to the vacuum ports on the carbs. I don't understand how they're suppose to fit. is there a trick for this? Any help would be much appreciated.

They should be threaded on the end.  The engine side of the carbs has a plug that you remove and insert the brass tubes and then connect to your gauges.

I recently did this and had some trouble fitting the brass tubes. A couple of them interfered with the choke linkage. I had to find a sweet spot for the choke lever while screwing the tubes in. Once they were in, the tubes were binding up the choke lever a little. I don't know if this is your problem.
