I'm thankful for...
« on: November 28, 2013, 08:50:53 pm »
I can work my hours and leisure and have a turkey dinner, too.
Not everyone knows work situations can be  perforated in these days, and if I have an opportunity to work to pay down the bills in a copacetic situation, why not work on T-day?  I'm thankful I have  work making something that is not all neck down labor and a fair wage.

I want to get done what needs to be, but leisurely thinking things out .  Shoot a few nails,  fix a goofed stud, surf the net a while, measure twice  before nailing the piss out of it.

Surely everyone here  is thankful for something, how about you?

I'm thankful for not throwing stuff away.

I set up my canopy on Wednesday on the patio to have a little protection from the weather for frying the turkey.  The weather app on my phone said nothing about high winds Wed. night.  I come out at 11:00 P.M. to let the dog out, and it's upside down and totally bend.  But....  When a similar thing happened years ago(not as bad), I never threw it away, hoping that I could fix it.  The newer one had enough good parts to fix the old one, so after about an hour Thursday morning, I had a canopy again.
Go metric, every inch of the way!

Yeah, my friend  kicked out decade ex, who reappears. He says she was crazy, #$%*y etc., probably  all completely true. He says because of that he had perfectly good excuse  to boot her.  But  truthfully they had the machine issue come up like every other ex of his....

Thankful for my famlies good health. I have friends not so lucky this year. I listed all the things and it didn't sound like someone thankfull.

I am thankful for having only problems that money can fix.
