A high five to our friends to the north
« on: December 04, 2013, 04:00:40 PM »
Just saw a news item about a woman who bought a lottery ticket a year ago but lost the ticket. The Canadian lottery folks set out to track her down. They found her through security camera footage at the outlet that sold the ticket. She won $50 million! Can't see that happening here. Nice job up there.  ;)
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

There was a story a year or so back about someone letting another guy go ahead on him in line to buy a ticket.  The guy won the lottery and they used security camera video to hunt down the guy that let him ahead.  Can't remember how it turned out...

She was apparently leary of talking to them because she thought they didn't look like officials (I can see it now "and you say you're who? hmm that identification  looks cheesy, no thanks you two, go away or I'll call the cops).

Can't see that happening here.

No, I can't see it happening here either. They'd be lining their pockets with the cash. (To keep this from turning political, I omitted my intended target by using the generic description 'They'd';) )

I like my women a little big. Natural. Now, they shave this and wax that. It's not right. I love natural women. Big women. This trend in women has to go. Bulomia, anorexia. That's just wrong.
