Ok, I need some help. The left hand control is screwed up on the inside. I have a spring, a ball bearing, and other small pieces. Does anyone have pic of the inside of there cb500 LH control?

Ok, the nubbin is so warn the switch doesn't "click". So, I sanded of the old one, drilled a hole, and epoxied a piece of a thumb tack in there. I'll let you know if it works.

Took two tries, but new nubbin now works. I would do more work today, but wind chills at -27 below zero. A little too chilly for this guy.

Nice project!
Extended forks were popular  8), there must have been a good sale on extended forks in '73 (lol).  I finished restoring '73 CB500 last summer, had extended forks.

Ok, I was getting no spark on 1 and 4. I swapped in new condensers and still no luck. Bad coil? Anything else I missed? Wiring is clean and tight.

Coils rarely go bad even though we like to blame them. Last time I had that issue it was improper point gap.
