Cb750 version 2 all steel
« on: October 20, 2013, 08:21:23 PM »
Well, I took it back apart and am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  I wanted to ride her to Barber and spent many late nights trying to make that happen but I just ran out of time.  Heres how she stands now:

Great shapes on the tank and seat.  You may want a slightly longer cut out on the seat, to give you a little more room to move.

Thanks.  I took a long time sketching the shapes and proportions before committing it to steel.  The saddle should have enough room to scoot back, I did some pretty accurate measuring when laying everything out.

that looks great - there's always next year for Barber.

You gonna paint that beauty ?     Everytime I see bare metal, I want to just leave it alone.  Something about bare metal....

Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Got some decent photos of the bike from a friend of mine.  Please excuse the blue painters tape.
