Do I really need these???
« on: December 01, 2013, 05:56:50 PM »
I removed all the little rubber/plastic spacers in between the fins on the block (for cleaning purposes) and was wondering if they actually have to go back in, there were a few missing as well.

Nope

They were put there to stop some of the tinking and clicking of aluminum expansion rates. Bike won't blow up without it

I was made aware or the fact that the new ones cost +$3 each! So save them or sell them. I started making them just in case....

I was wondering about those little aspirin myself. Well most of mine are missing. Might as well take the rest out.

Frankenstuff, I was looking at your side covers, nice stuff great price. Will the finned side cover ever be available again?
Also the timber work on your website is very nice stuff, you don't see that sort of workmanship in timber very often anymore.

I will work out what I need and let you know, I will get some of those little doo-dads how much each are they?

Also I like the seat and rear tail setup on the bike on your home page, is it your bike? do you any more photos or details. it looks like the rear frame has been left standard.
