Toggle switches on the back of the headlight bucket, never lose your keys again.
starter button through the stem and out the triple three acorn nut. Stealth, clean , and not many people will be able to find it if they are not you. That is all assuming you are configuring a modified ride. I LOVE having a keyless ignition. I am the guy always looking for keys !

If you do gotta have a key though I think the auto style switches are cool and you can start your bike like a car. Have seen them mounted behind a side cover Harley style and it looks very clean .

I have a car style starter on my bike and it seemed cool at first but is kinda annoying in real use. It would be much simpler to just tap the button while still being able to work the throttle or clutch. To start I HAVE to be in neutral and can't be moving if it was to happen to die.

Seemed slick, but I will be moving it back to a more standard type.

I also did remote start buttons but the same thing arises, convenience and purposefulness. What if it dies in traffic or slow speed, the remote location blows

If I had the extra cash I'd try a set of the Posh Mini Switches:

I went with modern bike controls when those original K0s fall apart.  Quite happy with them - they are from 2006 or so R6.

after "releasing the magic smoke" from my 71 CB450's hacked up harness i decided to rewire the bike completely i ended up using CBR 600 F4i bar switches and a cheap $9.99 main harness that was listed by the same seller. it has worked flawlessly for 3 years.

My 750 project that is lacking all electrical is going the same way i just bought the same stuff again to re-wire the 750 as i figured im into about $500 for all the parts to re-do the original style wiring with a mix of aftermarket and OEM parts

When i find some switches cheap again i will buy some spares should either bike develop problems.
