Got tired of seeing one of my old frames getting f'ed from being stored so I went through my parts bins and built it back up.

But which one is higher maintenance Retro........

Nice bikes. Ive ridden my Trek for years up until the last few years and then allowed the tires to dryrot. Id like to get it running for springtime, sure do miss how riding with pedals makes me feel health-wise.

Im dying to buy a Trek mountain bike too......but that takes money.  >:(

My bikes are winterized already.  Specialized carbon, aka the good bike, on September century turning point.

But my beater bike is Raleigh ten speed from 1980ties.

Winterized? What's that?

When I still had my good carbon bike I kept it off the road right after a snow when the salt was heaviest. But otherwise if it was above 15 degrees it was warm enough to get on the road.

My bikes get a brake when the deer season starts, I spent winter killing bambi.

Back in my riding days(25 years ago) I had a Schwinn Paramount and a Serotta Colorado. I`ve had this Schwinn for about 30 years, my dad used to restore old Chevys and he had gone to look at a 55 Chevy and saw this bike leaning against the barn covered in cardboard. He came home with the bike instead of the 55  ;D, we had a Schwinn dealership at the time so we hung it in the store. I now have it hanging in my marina. The bike is all original down to the tires.

Only pic I have. As soon as I sat down, rear tube exploded. At least it didn't do it miles away from home.
