No idea Per, the specs are on Axl's website, my RC327 is the hottest RC cam, but not as much lift as say a Megacycle 125/75. It looks like it has way more duration, but I'm no expert. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Who's RC George mate? The 454 isn't even listed on Axl's site? ;D

I think the RC454 is like the Kenny Harmon Super F , for dragrace only.
Absolutely not for street ;D

One of those eminently forgettable bands. I remember the song, but doubt if I've ever seen the band. ;D

#2 stopped dripping gas, good deal. I have the bike rolling, so I took it off the lift and moved the bike lift to the welding area.
I need to get serious about tig welding the stainless exhaust pipe on the firebird. The lift is now my fab table.

The turbo bike boost gauge assembly was held together by a nail, I was admiring it and dropped it when the nail fell out, it died dramatically before my eyes. The needle took a full 360* swing and snapped off at the peg.
I found one with ATP on the face on ebay for $650 and another that looks like mine for $1000. I was just sick. After an hour of surfing the net, I found the gauge for around $50, it looks like mine and the $1000 one.

WooHoo! I bought the gauge, $54 shipped that means I saved $946, right? That makes $946 I can spend on other things, that's logical. The one in my kit was a bottom fitting, the ones on ebay are rear fitting so I got that.

The ebay one has a tell tale fitting on the back. It reads max pressure until you release it by pushing the button.
My buddy that had the blown dragster had one so he could read the top end boost after the run. The guy that bought it from him broke the gauge and was getting low boost readings. He continued to put on bigger and bigger pulleys until he ripped the bores out of the block. Didn't understand why the heads were lifted above the block edges.

Yeah.  The same guy put an alky burning blown funnycar hemi in the same dragster, the torque converter had six bolt holes, but he only had the three bolts he usually used. So, he went with that. The torque sheared off the 3 lugs that had bolts in them, over-revved and blew the motor. Destroyed everything from the pan to the injector hat.

Wow, I'm glad I kept the bracket. L0L! It polished up pretty good. I used three brass screws to hold the old gauge mount to the handlebar bracket. It gives it a little bit of a steampunk look.

It is for sure, they were the only 3 matching screws I had that fit. They were in a faucet repair bib screw kit. I'm thinking it needs some stainless button heads. If the original screws had been there, I wouldn't have dropped it in the first place. I'll keep working on components until it's ready to be assembled.
Mt granddaughter was observing me order the boost gauge and told Grandma I had spent a thousand dollars on a $54 gauge. She tried to bust me out, got it backwards and will not inherit a cb750 Honda when I am no longer here. To think, I already bought her a pink Stratocaster.

Don, give the kid a break, you can turn her from the dark side of ratting someone out…she was attempting to gains favor from your wife, her grandma, by throwing you under the bus. Time to have a Frank and Brutal conversation with your child and his/her spouse to enlist their aid and set them on the narrow path too…

Her Aunt (drives our dragster) saw the whole thing and laughed her out of the room. Woah, trying to bust Grandpa out!  My 5 yr old grandson when seeing the dragbike posed the question, Papa, why do you need to go so fast? He has a go kart and only knows two speeds, idle and wide open. It comes naturally.
