There is a saying in HiFi geek land that the best amplifier is a "straight wire with gain". Webers seem to be the internal combustion engine version of that concept.

 No, he only managed used bikes and repair. He was a truck driver by trade and did the motorcycle business on the side except when he was renting the old former Harley shop.
 That building was Walter Brothers Harley Davidson since the 30's but it was small.
