Manufacturer's Cup in VA in June with a Hondamatic in Street ET. Pending only getting the date for the event.

It will be my 3rd time there racing a Hondamatic at that track. 750 miles driving each way.  ::)

I hope to be there too gentlemen. SOHC on deck in Street ET. Hard to say if they will do it at VMP again due to the major problem they had with rain at the last event. A lot of the racers vowed they wouldn't come back to that track again.

No arguing about that from my point of view. I like the track and the people seem great. Just repeating what i was told by some of the racers.

Rain or shine, if they schedule the race and i've got extra $$ in my pocket, we'll be there.

I believe that it's a multiple year contract that Mfg. Cup signed with VMP. That guarrantees an event for 2014 with fixed payouts (with a minimum specified field requirement being met). If the better racers don't show, I'll race those who do show. My last visit to VMP was for a Prostar event that was raced in 102-105 degrees F weather. I ran 11.8's with my 'matic in Pro ET. I like the facility. Trying to bring a Hondamatic ATM to the 2014 event. Bill and Sam still don't have one. The last one seen in bigger competitions was in the midwest with Chad Isley. It was an ATM due to Chad's driving. The bike I'm bringing should be an ATM with any skilled rider. I won't be as easy to spot as I'll not be wearing white.... ;D
