for the rest, who knows, i've think i'm getting a special one, butt i have to wake only an other 105 hours :+
butt than it's just a start ;)

you'all will see :P

Hey, good to hear from you.  I wanted to point out that the english spelling of "butt" refers to one's ass, backside, gluteous maximus, or arse as some here say it.  In the context in which you are using it, it is spelled BUT, just one T. ;) ;D ;D

it's changed ;)

YOU SOLD HER?!!!!!  :o

This thread is in the top 3 of best rebuilds I have seen on this forum and you sold her?  Wow, I am just dumbfounded.  I know you put a tremendous amount of time, work, and money into this old girl.  Did you make money, break even, what?

Can you believe he sold her??????

I guess the next bike will start out worse and end up better, right?     ;D

Great shots John and got to love those corners. The style of your red cafe is very similar to mine with the Guilari seat and 4-4 pipes :-). Thanks for detailing a great build.

cheers
Andy

I've got another lying in peaces in the workshop here, the engine from that bike needs an complete overhall, chains, spanners piston and bearings, what's gonna take most of my time and money ;)

when the engine is completely rebuild, than I'm going to start with my how tho make a caferacer from another saved from the garbagedump CB750 ;)

plans for that are:

home-made build fueltank
frontend from a CB600r (ore something like that)
for the rear, I'm thinking mono-shock, and maybe an rearbrig from a vfr800
classic fairing

simplistic electrical wiring

so many thoughts, now the cash ;)

Good to hear a new one is in the works.  You of course know that we expect pics, updates, etc., right?  You set the bar pretty high with this build and we'll expect to see the same level of quality or better.  ;D

Your build was the first one a watched from beginning to end and to say "inspiring" would be an understatment.  I can't wait to see the next one.  In fact quite your job, and start doing this full time.  I don't want to wait til winter to see the next one.  LOL!!!  :D

damned i sold that bike and i hate myself for doing that because after that i had several problems with my CB750k6 bike(almost every month there was something wrong), today i went for a drive with some other guys and my bike broke down, so bad i couldn't repair it on site.

i had put in a electronic ignition(worked perfect for about 40.000 miles)

that failed, and so after about 60 miles i went from driver to a passenger.

I'm glad my car (an BMW E30 316i from 1989) can be used with a trailer

I'm getting tired from all those problems, that I'm thinking, next year not a cb for me, i want another brand (I'm thinking of a yamaha fj1200).

Don't worry i always drive an CB750, but not next year (than i can ride, and can get working at  my caferacer CB822  ;D)

just spent half an hour reading through this thread.  now to find my manual and start on a wiring harness with weatherpak connectors for everything (because i hate bullet connectors).

So what did you do with the racing fairing? It was going on your project right? But you sold it?  :(
