before i went with next step first thing i've done was grease the rearfork(before i would forget it
), i checked it, and i couldn't feel any displacement so axle and bushing are o.k
I used normal SKF bearing grease
to get the old bearingscales out i used a big screwdriver and a hammer a fjew bangs and they went out, next thing to do was to clean the housing from old grease because i want to instal now single row taper roller bearings instead of the original bearings.
I've installed such bearings 9 years ago on my cb 750 k6 adjusted them about 500 miles later a little bit, every 3 years the triple tree gets out, bearings cleaned and new grease on it (with these bearings i've driven about 80.000 miles now, and they are still in perfect condition.

with the set of new bearings they deliverd a special thick ring that had to be mounted bij a cb750 four , that had to be mounted first.
to avoid damaging of the new bearing i made on my work a pipe with a big ring, welded it on and there is just enough clearance that i don't damage the stearing stem
on it's working place were it's gonna stay for many years

for the lubrication i use a molycoat grease with special high pressure qualities
very important, lubricate so much that the inner part of the part is filled with grease ( the grease comes out through the roller)
and now i pre -adjusted the bearrings, i will need to fine-adjust them when the frontfork and all is mounted
