MR. JON  HONDAMAN : I will send you $200 gas money to drive to Columbus,Ohio at the NHDRO race at the TRAILS. Then like FRANK said you get to race the Teasley's [ all three of them and their Dad = CROW ] who I have raced over the past 20+ years and there will be many " GOT BRUCE " bikes in all the lanes in ST/ET. I do-not like the buy back to the second round racing type of event but if you come to this event I will bring a SOHC 400cc-and a 750cc SOHC Honda and we can show the crowd the fastest and the slowest 400cc [ 17.76 ] and your 750++ fastest [ 10's ] Hondamatic's going rounds. Also my  friend  National #2 NHRA Cowboy BOB NUGENT nephew races a 400cc pure stock w/backrest  Hondamatic that they won a $2500 race at Indy. in 2013.       I NEVER SAID ANYONE IS A SMALL FRY ON THE 1320' but ME W/4OOcc's.

Pops,
I appreciate the offer, but that's not where my priorities are this season. Mfg. Cup in Virginia is as far as I'm going this season. The bike will be an 811cc Hondamatic beater that should go high 12's. Just looking to have a little fun with others on this forum when in Virginia. The big bike needs some work to make it better and quicker. Bill's efforts to build a big Hondamatic will probably push me on to improving that bike. I'm not trying to impress anyone or make empty boasts. I'm just a racer who has run Hondamatics for over 25 years with some success. I've known both sides of the coin having raced Prostar in Pro ET with my Hondamatic and lost with a .029 package. On any given day, as the saying goes. I promise a video on youtube when the big bike next makes quarter mile passes, probably at New England Dragway. It's not yet on top of my to do list as I've got a big Suzdamatic twin (Suzuki top end on a Hondamatic twin bottom end) that is next on the list. Vic Force has built a Hondamatic twin to my recommendations that has been to two Mfg. Cup Street ET finals. It's also the quickest one around at 13.49/96 mph. I'd like to finally meet him and race against his "liquid worm" someday. I think that mine might be a little quicker. ;) The big motored bike would be next on the list followed by a Suzukimatic twin of very big displacement and chain drive that might go a little quicker than any Hondamatic twin. The big bike needs a big dollar cylinder head to allow quick ET's. When we're talking over 1200 cc's it needs some air. This bike is a Pro ET bike. It will be back racing, but not for a while. It's more important for me to race with my friends than to impress others with timeslips. It's the friends who give you the memories that someday I'll reflect back on. Hang in there. You'll see an honest 10 second Hondamatic that can give some good racers stiff competition.

Pops, since many of us here on the forum intend to come to VMP, it makes more sense for you to come there also. We could have one nice big family reunion. As the saying goes, if the mountain doesn't come to you, then you must come to the mountain.

All good man, all good. Its been a great experience chatting with folk on this forum and then getting to meet them in person over the past few years. Its the love of the old bikes that brought it all full circle.

Looking forward to seeing how 2014 works out for Team Sam Green!!!!

I'll stay in my neck of the woods to run 17-25 bikes every weekend maybe w/one buy back sometimes. National Trails is the only track that I know of that has two classes for drag bikes for their weekend events = ST/BK and Super Pro BK but their Wednesday night points race are all bikes race in one class. In 20-25 years on the road been down South a lot but to drive that far for 15-20 rounds to win and the cost = their are many great tracks in OHIO, show me better than NORWALK ?????? When Bill gets the ATM running 10's I will be setting in the stands with a big smile........

Pops,

We don't sit in the stands! We are a TEAM. We're either in the pits or helping on the track.  ;D
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

When Bill wants to sell that 10 ? second motor I'll be at his trailer with cash in hand and my truck and trailer to bring back to OHIO. If Mr. Hondaman JON WEEKS  wanted to build one of my motors I would drive NORTHEAST with cash ,  but not this time of the year with 24-36" of snow and 45-60 MPH winds in his state. But come spring I could head to his home shop with motor and cash for a JON WEEKS BUILT MOTOR, do-not need a 10 second motor to run ST/ET just a well built long life HONDAMATIC 750CC that can go 5-9 rounds every weekend. I ran my 400CC "TURTLE" HONDAMATIC for 10 years with no down time on the motor I put together that won over many fast bikes, can you say BREAKOUT fast bikes. Hope everyone has a SAFE YEAR on the roads doing what " WE DO "...................... get a lane
