75 CB750 CRANK BEARING HELP
« on: December 22, 2013, 04:50:50 PM »
Hi, I'm new to this forum and I just bought 2 1975 cb750's one a K model and the other a F model. My question is how do you know what main/rod bearings are in the motor?. The manual talks about different colors of bearings, but I can find no markings on any of them. Any help would be great thanks.

Do you have a manual?????

You match letters found on the front of the engine (a blind man can read these) ie BBBBB with scratched on letters on the center of the crank (this is the trickey part) ie AABBA (this interpretation my friend requires a vivid imagination) using the chart in your manual. Long story short.
