cb750 k6 for sale
« on: September 03, 2006, 03:33:01 PM »
hello everybody.
I recently came upon a 76 CB750 that is for sale. The bike has 12000 miles on it and is in very good condition. The owner wants approx. 2700 U.S. dollars for it . What should I look for when I am viewing this bike as to potential trouble spots ?Does anybody have feedback pertaining to these bikes as far as handling, power, braking and anything else ?I have a 75 cb400f and sure would like to get a 750 for a little more torque and cruising power. Thank you.

Sounds way high, like smoking funny stuff high. If he wants that kind of money for it, then go over with a complete O.E. picture and start deducting for parts that will have to be bought O.E. to replace any crap some one has put on it. I think you will find the price tag falling into the $1500 or less range.

Just my stupid opinion.

Im gonna have to agree that sounds way high.  If a little more power is all you're looking for I'd sell you my 1980 CB650 for $1200.  It burns oil right now(I top it off every 100 miles or so) and needs a tach gear but its in great shape other than that.

Actually I'd probably still be ripping you off for that much, even with the exhaust and pod filters. :-\
