I prefer under slung brakes, but dont change that if you want to make the show. Your brake arm rod, appears to be angled. If it is try to get it straight, unless your caliper bracket is extremely rigid, the angled arm can often lead to dished rotors..
 Good luck at the show..

It's a straight shot, the brace looks angled because of the photo

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Bike works great! Except for the #$%*ty oil tank........ I should have checked the other guys welds....... He just drilled holes in the top of the tank, then welded in nuts........ So the welds are cracking and now it's new tank time.

I just want to say what a fine motorcycle you have created.   You are an inspiration for the rest of us.

Man i hate when guys use materials of convenience, to build bike parts that would be suitable for a locomotive or crane . Had i known it was that thick, i would have suggested chucking it in the lathe, and cutting 1/8 or 3/16 grooves around it so it would be finned, and lighter.

Love that pic of it on the road. Looks like a scene from a rodeo and you're trying to tame that thing!
