Recessed oil sight glass

NICE!  I'm having my fabricator Ian Halcott install a similar sight glass into my oil tank.

Brass would match everthing else but that growler cap would be the coolest thing never seen on a bike before.

I'd leave the threaded cap on the oil, but if you're hankering to deploy the Growler, what about for the fuel instead? The only caveat with those is the possibility of the clamp coming back and chipping your paint when released or snugged.

I'm building the new tank and a new rear fender.... Might be gun blueing the tins, so paint might not be an issue

Bluing will scratch more easily than paint if you do blue it. Also, the oxidation of sweat and oils will be a significant challenge. Will look pretty cool though while it lasts.
