You might want to try one before deciding that the Hayabusa is worthless. After 6 years with mine, I would be hard pressed to find a better bike for sport touring, or simply getting down the road effortlessly. Idiots, not bikes, ride irresponsibly.

My comment had nothing to do with the bike but the idiots who go out(aka crotchrocketeers-something like the mousekeeters of motorcycling). Maybe I should have inserted the tongue in cheek.  Suzuki makes a fine bike but a Hayabusa is a bit much for the people I see ride them...Larry

There's one in this Bonneville car, too. It's bored to 1500cc with the staggered cylinders, 11:1 CR, runs on both gas and nitrous. It's gone over 248 MPH in this little lakester! They've held the record class for 14 of the last 17 years with this car: it started with a 750 SOHC4, became a KZ1000 (bored/stroked to 1200), then the 'busa. Last I heard, they are fitting it with a blower for next year.

I worked with these guys for 14 years, great bunch of folks!

The donor bike for the original engine became the one on the cover of my book (but with a different engine).
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

The demons are repulsed when a man does good. Use that.
Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

I think was more direct at my subject line.... Nothing wrong with em... just not my cup of tea. Awesome tech but often just in the wrong hands...just not my cup of tea is all.
