The Vincent would fill the financial and emotional void left  ;D .

My two pipe dream bikes are a BSA rocket lightning and Vincent black shadow. I have European tastes on a Japanese budget.

Man I guess thats why they say never meet your heroes. The black shadow is my "bedroom poster" bike. That and a gp two stroke 500.

That black and red 750gt Looks beautiful too. Lot of nice Euro bikes.

yes that is what they say , the bike was beautiful though . a friend of mine had bought it and then spent a fortune having it restored . he rode it a couple of times but hated it , thinking there was something wrong he lent it to me for a couple of months to
see what i thought . i wasn't keen either so took it to a proper vincent person who pronounced it fine . it is of course possible that the problem was me and the owner !

Some interesting bikes. I like the never uncrated GB500. Not one SOHC/4 though. Really no early Japanese 4's to speak of. One CB1100F in dire need of a paint job. But no Cb750's, no Z1's. No Goldwings. Not even much in the way of twins. Just the usual array of HD's, Indians, Brit bikes, and euro brands. With a few misc old American bikes.

The one that really caught my eye was the project Ducati Desmo 350 single. I would love one of those.

There is another motorcycle auction in Las Vegas starting January 9th. It is Mecum-Mid-America auction and races. You can find it at Mecums web site. I believe they have some SOHC 4's in their sale.
