They did fine on the spokes for my front rim. But I also had a 78K rim for a 750 and they sent me the wrong ones for it. The first time I spoke with them the lady was very courteous. When I called to tell them that I had a problem the young lady with whom I spoke told me "Sir, I can assure you those are the correct spokes." To which I responded, "Ma'am, I not only tried to lace them but I had Bill Benton try, who has laced rims for these bikes for over 30 years and he said there's a problem as well." She then told me that I'd had to ship my rim & hub to them.
When I originally paid for the spokes, I paid extra for 2-day shipping plus an extra $25 for expedited processing. Altogether, I think the cost was about $320 at that point. To ship the hub, rim and spokes back via UPS Ground was $89.
Once they received them, I got a call saying that the spokes were indeed the wrong size. I politely asked that they replace the wrong spokes, plus true and lace the rim. And I firmly stated that I expected them to pay to ship it back to me because the mistake was theirs. They did.
In the end, I got a great product, but the cost was over $410 dollars and it took an extra week to accomodate the shipment back to them.
On a funny side note, I told the guy when he called back to confirm that the spokes were wrong, "Why don't you guys measure my rims there and write it down? That is the stock 78K rear rim and not only is it a different diameter rim than the previous years but the rim is also slightly wider than the earlier 69-76 rims." He then went on to try and explain to me that the 77 and 78K rims varied from rim to rim in size. So I asked him, "Are you saying that Honda made a rim for my bike at one size and then made the rim for the next 78K bike on the line with a different size?" He said, "They sure did." I just started laughing and said, "OK...well if you think that's realistic, you just go ahead and believe that but I'm not believing they would want to do that."
