I have a '78 CB750K.  How can I know which seat grab rail from which other 750Fours will work on it?

When I went looking for my 78 bar, I just found one on the "78 CB750" Ebay search.   It fit

I'm thinking our tail section may be a bit different, but I  could  "and probably am"  wrong.

medic - you can also do this way -  Go to http://www.crotchrocket.com/default.asp
and find the parts fiche for your bike. Note the parts number for the seat rail, then methodically change the search to other models and other years.  Takes some time but you will know for sure what will and will not fit.

I tried that at my friendly Honda dealer...and the seat rail doesn't even appear on the fiche!  I'll try online and see if it's any different.

theres a good reason to be be prepared with parts numbers before you visit the kids at the local Honda parts counter.  The rails shows up on the 'Rear Fender' page, called 'bumper rr', 84101-404-000, $120.70US
