CB550 Connecting rod bearings?
« on: January 01, 2014, 01:25:56 PM »
I am about to rebuild my CB550 motor and I was wondering which type of bearing I need to order for the connecting rods, A,B,C or D's?

Looking at the crank shaft lobes I can faintly see A1-A1-A1-1-1. All the connecting rods have #'2' on them and I think 'E' on the opposite side.  Any idea to what I should order?

My engine case has these letters stamped on the back which is for the crank shaft bearings/big end. So I assume these are the bearing letters I should order for the crank shaft.
