You may wish to get one of my ATC-style Fuseholders. The metal clips on the old fuseholders were plated with chromate, which had a 10-year lifespan. Today, your fuse clips are probably a dark brownish color, which is oxidized chromate: this is a good resistor, and it makes a real good heater, which heats up the fuses until they melt. Then they look like they blew. I make more fuseholders for 750/550 bikes than anything else these days!
