I got some miles in on the weekend too, but coming home on Sunday I could feel the temperature dropping.

Wow Stev-o...I can not imagine that much of a swing in temps. At least you are able to get out a few times. Good for you!!!

Back in the 70s I actually remember something-camping outside Toronto in August and experiencing a 50 degree drop in one night.  Good way to catch a cold...Larry

40yrs ago when I was 16yrs old 8 of us rode out bicycles in 68 degree weather to go camping back in the woods of the Kettle Moraine forrest in wisconsin. We were the only campers because the park wasn't open for the season yet(FREE). Woke up to 7in of snow and the walk into town was 4 miles, after we burned the picnic table and outhouse door to survive. Took 4 pickup trucks to rescue us and our bikes about 12hrs later.

Got stuck in a situation similar to that while camping with the Boy Scouts, probably in the late 50s.  We had to be rescued from the reservation.  I think it was Resica Falls in PA...Larry

Tolerable -  about 75'  but  in the 90's again tomorrow.......... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Ha ha, I took the big black 'Wang for a blast yesterday Larry, it's not a good hot weather bike, it's running slightly hotter than I'd like, (air lock, or thermostat issue, methinks) and of course, once mobile it blows the heat all over the rider. Great bike on a cold day, but I haven't seen one of them for the last 4 or 5 months............... ;D

Throw a body around the Wang and add air conditioning Terry then it'll be an all weather land barge.

We are having an awful heat wave here................................................................

over 40 for maybe the fourth time this year...Larry

I asked my ex-wife a similar question once, I got a smack on the face for my impudence.

Good advice Terry.

But as my compatriot Mr. Wilde  said "Youth is wasted on the young"

I'm wiser now and don't get smacked quite so often.

Ditto. Calling for 5-8" overnight and tomorrow. Just when our snow pack was beginning to shrink during the past couple of days.  :(  We may be wearing mittens for the big Memorial Day cookouts.  ;D
