M.C. Events, 2014
« on: January 02, 2014, 09:08:26 AM »
I am trying to plan a road trip with my father this summer/early fall and wanted to get some ideas regarding motorcycle events going on, preferably within the SE but it doesn't have to be.  Obviously, I am thinking of Barbers or potentially the MotoGP race in Indy.  Could anyone provide any additional places that would be cool to go to.  This would be both of our first very long road trip so I am looking for some memorable places/events.  He will be on a new Boulevard and my on the K4, maybe we could hook up on a GZ leg?

So, where are you folks going this summer/fall!?  8)

78 k550, we are saving up our vacation so I think we might have a week or a tad bit more.  Colorado does sound like some cool riding.

dusterdude, never been to a drag race but wouldn't put it past me.  Is there a local strip near you or some events going on?

+1 on that

IF you make it out to Texas the Harvest Classic in mid October in beautiful downtown Luckenbach.
And the North Texas Norton Owners have a rally in east Texas in late September.
