Is there any kind of salvage yards along the front range for earlier CB's?

Steels has a huge outdoor and indoor selection of parts but I think
They are very expensive, only buy from bob the big fat guy hes reasonable
But the owner is a wolf on prices.
Ty's recycling in Longmont is a mess
And the owner is a weirdo(albeit nice) and the place smells like
Dog pee, but he charges reasonable prices.
also, there's a guy who somehow
Got his Hands on a HUGE stash of cb750 stuff new OEM and used. He's the manager of Motorheadz garage in Arvada on 52nd.

I'm really looking for a left side 550 cover. I see them on ebay but they generally seem to be cracked and $50. Is that the norm?

How's your Blitzer-bike running these days?

Mark how have you been! bike is still running like a champ!
After I finished my front end conversion and my disc/caliper upgrade the bike was perfect and I Ran out of things to do on it, so I picked up a datsun Z and have been
Building that. I go crazy if I'm not working on something
Ill drop by in the spring and we'll catch up!

Just wanted to repeat about Ty's Recycle Cycle in Longmont (303) 678-5683.  I feel it's not as bad as d3buttz suggests.  No worse than many salvage type places I've been.  He has a ton of old Honda stuff.  But much is out in weather.  If you know what you want..are willing to go out and look for it (rather than have him get it for you)..can usually find what you want..or need.  His prices are fair..and less than many others..I've found. Yeah..he's a bit eccentric with his dogs and all (lives in a trailer on premises too)..but then how many of us can say we don't have our idiosyncrasies too?
