Need BIMOTA tank and CB750 frame info
« on: January 08, 2014, 08:42:40 PM »
Does anyone out there have a Bimota HB1 style tank that can make me a pattern of the bottom. Also, has anyone blueprinted the engine mount dimensions(as many views as possible) of the 750.
 Just collecting for the inevitable!

Thnx in advance,
HB

I think 754 has made some need 750 mounts, using a heavier than stock platform. PM him and he'll likely have your dims or drawings available.

Good luck on that Bimota find!

I was hoping someone out there had bought an airtech fiberglass tank . I want a template from the bottom, so I can make an aluminum one. Plus, it gives me some of the frame shape.
Then the engine dimensions - mounting hole to mounting hole. As 3D as possible!

There's a frame drawing in the Honda manual at the top of this page.
