Hello,
James here and I'm new to the forum and very new to the vintage bike community. I've always admired cafe racers and always wanted one, and it happens that I got to be good friends with guys over at Redemption Cycles, so Ricky (owner of Redemption Cycles) offered to do a project bike for me and for the shop. Redemption Cycles are known for their bobbers and so doing a cafe project will be their first major cafe build. Our first task was to find a bike to work on, so we called up our friend Dennis Trudelle from Perris Cali and with luck, he happens to have a 1974 cb750 frame sitting around. Dennis recommended to rebuild the motor and to take it up a notch, he slapped in an 836 bbk in there as well.
Here are some pics at the shop before the teardown!
more updates coming soon... stay tuned!
