CR750 Front guard
« on: January 28, 2014, 08:09:43 PM »
HI .
I am building a CR750 lookalike and am chasing a front guard. I have bought an airtech glass one however, I'm stuck on the support brackets. I am using a twin disc set up, so the brackets have to match both sides.
What is the best approach here. I'm happy to just start fresh with anything that looks close to the original.
Cheers Mark

Mark,

Check out the mud guard mounting plates at Disco Volante,  http://www.discovolantemoto.co.uk/aluminium-parts-62-c.asp .  I have an extra set that I'd part with cheap.  On the other hand they are just cut out of plate aluminum if you want to make your own.  Building an aluminum fender for my track bike in the Projects Section under CB550 Track Bike if you are looking for other ideas.
