Buy it Stev-o... 8)

I really need to win the lottery so I can get a warehouse and start hoarding vintage steel. ;D

I've been watching that one for awhile, he just wants too much for it.  Ideally, I'd like to find a complete, unrestored model for under $5K.
As you guys know, half the fun is the restore....

Those are nice, tt.  But, I think I'm going to hold out for a vintage Duc

Better insure it's complete then. Would get expensive.  ;)

I really like this one.   **example**

Stev-o,
I like how he says in his listing "this bike was meant to be ridden"  8) I think it's nice that he Fully restored it to be put to Full use. There's too many excellent machines that 'Could' be driven regularly that now just sit in a collector's showroom/garage.
If I had that bike I think I'd spray some easily removable masking type spray on it to hide the true Jewel underneath and just ride that bike everywhere.
What a Work of ART that is !! It's a shame, but I suppose some new owner will purchase it to just leave it sit and then ride it one Sunday a month.. :(
I LIKE small bikes  ;D

Not a shame at all.  That is not a daily rider.   Once a month rider is what that bike is all about, much better than once a year or never.

No Bull,I'd own LOT'S of them if possible.

Glorious looking example of an s2r.

I have a 800 s2r with arrow exhaust as well. Great powerband and balance with these bikes. I wish the exhausts would be LOUDER. But it's ok for now, love the drumkicking like sounding termignoni's.

I am planning to get a software update. I think it would be better to give more life to the revs below 4000k

I might be interested in this update as I was told there is very little ecu adjustment. I ordered a 14 tooth front today but still undecided on using it.

Not loud enough?  :D I bought the full race arrows used. Plan on at least a repack and maybe db killers. Still undecided on that too.  :D Greg @ arrow told me to run them first to see how I liked them. As you know 4k is where the s2r likes to be. Arrows are loudest at that range I was told. Will see.

Guess I'm undecided.  ;D

Thanks for the reply. Just a wonderful motorcycle. Everything just seems right huh?

Beautiful. The since closed mega-dealer that used to be near me sold Duc's. When I was getting parts for my FJ1200 I used to walk over and drool. I love the GT1000.

One just popped up 45 miles from me. What I don't understand is where he/her came up with the price.  :o ::)

I show average retail of $5700.00. I'm curious where this number came from. Think I will call tonight.

In other news Bellissi Moto is moving to Vegas! This is great news.  8)

4100 square foot shop and store. When I ordered my Rizoma parts they told me this will happen but to keep it mum. Looks like reality now as I received an email today.

Lyle said they were hiring the top Ducati mechanics that use to work at Pat Clark which since has closed. Whether they become a Ducati dealer remains to be seen. Hope so.

Actually the prices are in this range. Seems the GS1000 was not a big seller and sat on the floor for quite a while. Then they took off and everybody wants one.

I'm sure there are deals but most on Cycle Trader were in the 10K range.
