Trading my kerker 4-1 for a 78f 4-1 exhaust to help a guy out. Will eventually sell the F exhaust, what's a fair asking price? Apparently it's in good condition. I know, these threads suck, but I have to ask.

I'm confused. The exhaust pictures is a stock 1978 CB750F exhaust header. This is yours? Are you trading to get a Kerker exhaust?

On a side-note, I don't mind these threads as long as it's coming from an established member who contributes to the forum. It pisses me off when somebody with 3 posts wants to know how much something is so he can turn a buck and disappear from the forum. You, sir, are using this forum for what it's intended for, in my opinion. Carry on!

I'm not seeing much rust on these, it's burned oil that'll polish off with some elbow grease

Looks pretty rusty up on the head pipe area also. Def not show quality. Does it still have the original muffler, worth more if its a nice one.  What's the Kerker look like ?

I'd have to ask myself..."What use is this without the stock muffler?  Looks like rusty crap, header paint sticks to chrome even worse than it does to bare steel, probably weighs more than any aftermarket piece, and probably has the same(or worse) flow as any decent aftermarket piece."  Just so you don't feel bad, I also .have one of these useless chunks of moto-tubing, only mine is in better shape, and has a mashed up Supertrapp jammed on the end.  I would rather have the Kerker...

Why don't you use the forum to locate him a decent 4-1, post a wtb. Most people get one pretty fast

I'm just going to sell him my kerker for $100 and let him deal with the stocker 4-1.

On the up side the 77-78 f header will bolt to a K. I made a muffler for one, but being in the muffler business for F pipes blows.
