Race gaskets and OOOO rings arg.
« on: January 18, 2014, 01:20:11 PM »
Does anyone offer gasket set without the head gasket? I have a few stock head gaskets already. For car engines you can buy a RACE set that just includes the usual gaskets but less the specialized ones. Just wondering.
How about seperate O ring sets, it seems like I'm always at parts stores looking for the O rings with no success.

I'm sure at one point someone posted a list of all the o-rings sizes, and sources.  Did a search, but couldn't find it.  I also remember someone posting that Harbour Freight sold a metric o-ring kit, not sure if the material is right for engine use though.

I just got my cycleX new gasket and seal set, no 18 x 3 mm o ring to put the case back together or 15 x 2.5's on the cylinders (did get the tall newer ones) or the 2 tinyest o rings under the K2 cam holders. I've been to all the parts stores and 2 independent bike shops. Jeezoooey.
Thanks for listening, now I feel better

It has come to my attention the 18 x 3 mm o ring  between the cases on my drag bike is the only one ever made.
